A small firm.
A very specific promise.

Overseas Haven Immigration is a licensed Canadian immigration consultancy based in Mississauga, Ontario - a boutique RCIC-led firm serving clients across India, the Gulf, and East Africa.

We're not a volume shop. We take on the files we believe we can win, and we stay on them from the first eligibility call until your PR card lands in the mailbox.

THE ORIGIN

Built from files that shouldn't have been refused.

Overseas Haven was founded by Akash Dutta, RCIC-IRB, after watching too many honest, qualified applicants get refused for avoidable reasons — a missing employment letter format, a weak statement of purpose, a proof-of-funds document that didn't meet officer expectations.

Those refusals rarely happened because the applicant wasn't eligible. They happened because nobody in their corner had actually read IRCC's operational manuals, or knew what a visa officer scans for in the first 90 seconds.

We started this practice to be that person — the one who reads the manuals, tracks the CICC bulletins, and treats every file like it belongs to family.

HOW WE WORK

Six principles behind every file we sign.

Regulated & Accountable

Every file is signed off by a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC-IRB) bound by the CICC Code of Professional Conduct. Fees are disclosed in writing before any work begins.

Honest Eligibility

If a program isn't right for you, we say so on the very first call - even if it means turning down a retainer. A refused application costs far more than an honest 'no'.

Full-Family Strategy

Spouse, dependent children, ageing parents - we design pathways for the whole household, sequencing work permits, study permits, and sponsorships so nobody is left behind.

Study-to-Settle

For students, we map the entire arc: DLI selection → study permit → PGWP → CEC or PNP. You don't just land in Canada, you build a life here.

One Point of Contact

You'll never bounce between agents. The consultant you meet on day one is the same person answering your questions at 11 PM on submission night.

Documented Everything

Every submission is version-controlled in your client portal. Nothing is thrown together on deadline. Every letter, every form, every translation is reviewable.

REGULATED PRACTICE · CICC MEMBER

In Canada, only licensed representatives can charge for your file.

By law, only Canadian lawyers, notaries, and RCICs may represent applicants before IRCC for a fee. Anyone else - agents in shopping-mall offices, "consultants" on WhatsApp, education "counsellors" quietly filing your permit - is operating outside the law, and you have no recourse when it goes wrong.

Our RCIC number is published on the CICC public register. You can - and should - verify any consultant before you sign a retainer.

WHAT REGULATION MEANS FOR YOU

  • A written retainer with every deliverable and every fee disclosed up front - no surprise invoices.
  • Mandatory Errors & Omissions insurance protecting your file.
  • Recourse through the CICC's complaints and discipline process if we ever fail you.
  • Continuing-education hours logged annually - our knowledge stays current with IRCC changes.
